Our Connection to Arvada, Colorado
Serving a city with deep gold-rush and agricultural roots
The Arvada area traces its roots to Lewis Ralston's 1850 gold discovery in a nearby stream, which helped set the stage for Colorado's later gold rushes and settlement. In 1863 Benjamin Franklin Wadsworth platted a town of nine square blocks on his 160 acres, and his wife Mary Ann named it Arvada after a relative, linking the community's identity to early pioneers and homesteaders. Over the decades Arvada transitioned from agriculture to a fast-growing suburb, with population exploding from a few thousand in 1950 to tens of thousands by 1970. Today, Fox Auro Plumbers supports Arvada's residents by keeping essential plumbing systems safe, efficient, and ready for the next chapter of the city's growth.
